Your life in weeks

A 90-year life is about 4,680 weeks. Each square below is one of them. Enter your birthday to see where you are.

Why look at your life in weeks?

Seeing your life as a finite grid is a modern version of the ancient Stoic practice of memento mori, remembering that time is limited. It isn't meant to be morbid. Most people find it clarifying: the weeks you have left are enough to do a lot of what matters, but not enough to waste on what doesn't.

What to do with the weeks you have left

  • Spend time with people you love. Many of the hours you'll ever spend with parents, children or old friends may already be behind you. Make the rest count.
  • Pick a few things to get great at. 30 minutes a day is 180 hours a year, enough to become genuinely skilled at almost anything.
  • Notice your days. A one-minute daily check-in (an intention in the morning, a rating at night) makes weeks feel distinct instead of blurring together.

That is exactly what Intentional is for: habits, a private journal, day ratings and reviews that help each week count.
